WHY GOD SENDS HLHS BABIES

It's a beautiful day up in heaven. Jesus is rounding up his tiniest angels, to go live on earth, and be born. One of the sweetest angels says to Jesus "I don't want to leave, I like it here, and I will miss you." He reassures the scared little angel that everything will be okay, and that he is just going for a visit. He is still not swayed on this idea. So Jesus kneels down and says, "How about if you leave half of your heart here with me and take the other half with you. Will that be okay?" The angel smiles and says, "I guess that will work." But the little angel is still a little scared. He asks, "Will I be okay with only half of my heart?" Jesus replies, "Of course you will. I have other angels there that will help out, and you will be fine." Then Jesus gives the angel more details about his plan. He says, "When you are born your mommy will be scared, so you have to be strong, and when you feel weak just remember that I have the other half of your heart. Enjoy your time with your family play and laugh everyday, and when it's time to come back to heaven I will make your heart whole again. Always remember that you are not broken just torn between two loves."

Another good week

Well they were able to start feeding Kenzen through a tube that goes in his nose and to his stomach last Thursday and since then he has been fine. His x-rays have all been good so I think we are past his chyle leak which is really good news. He has been doing really well with his pacifier that they are hoping to try and feed him with a bottle today but I'm not so sure if he's up for it he seems more sleepy today but we are turning his feeds off for an hour before to try and make him hungry. Kids with his heart problem can have a really hard time learning to take a bottle and if he doesn't do it they can put a feeding tube in his stomach that will just come out his side where he can be feed from so he can come home. Dave and the kids had to go back to Utah on the 22 and I'm here again by myself but the doctors are working really hard on getting him ready to come to Utah to Primary children's until he is ready to come home. The only thing he has to do before he can be transported is get the catheter out that they used for dialysis which they are planning on taking it out on Monday as long as he has a good weekend. If everything goes well he should be brought back to Utah the end of next week and if he takes a bottle then we could possibly be home in the next few weeks.
